“The Marvel Super Heroes have been saving the planet from various bad guys for decades,” said Chris Loynd, the Aquarium’s marketing director. “Their ‘Operation Green’ show lets them empower kids to be heroes for the planet too – environmental heroes.”

Kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite super hero and hang around afterward for autographs.

(Although the “Operation Green” shows will be held in the IMAX Theater, they do not include an IMAX movie presentation. The live shows pre-empt the IMAX screenings of “Coral Reef Adventure” at 11 a.m. and “Born to Be Wild” at 2 p.m.)
