ATTENTION SENIOR CITIZENS: MAKE A VIDEO MEMOIR FOR POSTERITY ... FOR FREE!
As part of this year's 30 Hour Famine at St. Philip Church in Norwalk, teenaged participants have volunteered to record video histories of seniors. Decide what memories you want recorded for your children and future generations, and make your appointment now! Your video history will be treasured by your family forever.
Do your grandchildren know what it was like when you were in school? Have they heard how you met your spouse? Would you like an event in your life to be remembered—perhaps a wartime experience or a trip that you took?
You will be in a private area with one or two teens who will record your stories on a DVD. This is not like public speaking— imagine it as a way to speak to your great-great grandchildren!!
Call Patsy Porco at 203-642-4333 and make an appointment for Saturday, March 3, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Minutes after you are finished your recording session, you will be given a DVD containing your video history. Spread the word to your friends and come and record your memories!
Please make your appointment before Feb 29th so that there are enough recorders and students ready. Each session will last approximately 25 minutes.
