What's Open, What's Closed on Martin Luther King Day in Norwalk

OPEN Stepping Stones Museum Will be OPEN Monday, Jan. 20 
for Martin Luther King Jr. Day Join us for some kid-powered fun on this holiday Monday. We’ll be open from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Martin Luther King Day Community Celebration at West Rocks Middle School This is a free community event. Set for MLK Day: “Remember! Celebrate! Act! A Day On, Not A Day Off” celebration from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, on January 20, at West Rocks Middle School.

CLOSED: DMV Major customer service offices will close for the Martin Luther King Day holiday on Friday, January 17, at 12:30 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, January 21, at 7:45 a.m. Major DMV service offices will be open on Thursday until 5:30 p.m.   All AAA offices will be open to process renewals for driver licenses and non-driver ID cards during their normal business hours.

CLOSED: Monday, Jan. 20, Norwalk Public Schools will be closed.

CLOSED: CT Lottery Corporation will be closed on Martin Luther King Day. Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) Headquarters located in Rocky Hill will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2014 in observance of Martin Luther King Day. While the headquarters will not be open for business, the web site and automated phone system will be available to obtain information.  Regularly scheduled lottery drawings will occur.
