Triangle Community Center Hires First Executive Director

Fairfield County's only LGBTQ Community Center is headquartered in Norwalk. Triangle Community Center (TCC) recently hired Anthony Crisci as its first Executive Director.

The Triangle Community Center (TCC) has hired Anthony Crisci as its first ever Executive Director. This will be the first full-time staff position at TCC in its 23-year history. The Board of Directors hopes that by hiring a full time Executive Director, the community center will be able to grow and expand the range of services it offers to the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County, according to a release from TCC.

Anthony Crisci comes to TCC after working with Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice in New York City. At Bend the Arc, Anthony began as a member of the Programs Team, coordinating the logistics for programs focused on building the capacity of community organizers and non-profit leaders across the country. He later became the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Bend the Arc, a position he held for 10 months prior to accepting the Executive Director position with TCC.

Anthony began his career in non-profit management as an undergrad at Hofstra University. There he joined The Pride Network, a student-run organization. Anthony worked with The Pride Network for five years and helped the student group grow into a 501c3 organization that now offers programming in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He remains an active board member of The Pride Network today.

After moving back to Norwalk, his hometown, Anthony became a member of St. Paul’s on the Green, an Anglican church of the Episcopal faith, where he is currently a member of the vestry (the church’s operating board).

When asked what his goals are for his new position at TCC, Anthony responded, “I hope to help the Triangle Community Center grow into the full breadth of its mission in serving the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County. When TCC reaches its full potential, I know that Fairfield County will be a more welcoming and robust place for LGBTQ people and their allies to live in because of it,” said Crisci in the release.

Crisci will begin working full time this October at TCC’s offices in Norwalk and welcomes any and all inquiries and feedback regarding TCC in the meantime.

Anthony will attend his first public event as TCC's Executive Director on October 5th at TCC’s 7th Annual Visionary Party. More information including event and ticket information is available online.

Triangle Community Center (TCC) is Fairfield County’s only LGBTQ Community Center. The mission of TCC is to help strengthen the sense of pride, identity and visibility of the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County, CT, as well as to work with the greater community to foster and promote a more welcoming place for all.
