Parking is going mobile. With smart phones, that is.
The Norwalk Parking Authority has launched a mobile version of its website.
Automatically accessible from any web-enabled phone or smartphone, the site has all the features as the authority's website, including finding your way via geo-location based information about the parking facilities in Norwalk, MTA train schedules, the ability to purchase a permit for train station or lot parking – even paying a parking ticket.
“Having an all-access website makes the Parking Authority’s site an even more valuable tool so that the community, businesses and visitors to Norwalk are better informed about where and how to park,” said Parking Authority executive director Kathryn Hebert in a release.
The Norwalk Parking Authority is a financially self-sustaining organization responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipal parking system in Norwalk, and according to the release, they are committed to collaborating with community organizations while providing exceptional customer service to parking customers.
The Norwalk Parking Authority can be reached at (203) 831-9063 or at the website (via desktop or smart phone): www.norwalkpark.org.
