Adoptable Dogs:

  • Ace, being fostered by "S.A.S.S." This handsome 3 year old devil comes straight from the school of hard knocks. Ace was adopted from a shelter at a young age by his first angel. Unfortunately he had to give Ace up when he became too ill to care for him. Ace was surrendered to another shelter where he was the joy of all the volunteers and staff. Oddly, his ridiculously good looks didn’t have him scooped up by the first family who laid eyes on him. Sadly Ace became agitated by the other dogs in the shelter and eventually the staff felt his quality of life was failing. Luckily hours before he was to be euthanized Ace was dealt a second lucky hand and now he’s really excited to make the most of his second chance!!!

Ace loves to be part of the action and is great with children. He knows his basic commands, is house broken, neutered, micro chipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He is quickly learning that other dogs aren’t so bad also!

He is currently living with his foster family but he would love to find his forever home and get back to living the life a good dog deserves. Will you gamble on Ace and give him a chance to make him a part of your “full house”??

For more information on Ace contact Leslie at  "S.A.S.S."  (203) 952-8741.
  • Cass is available from  "S.A.S.S."  Cass is four years old born on July 29th, He has been with one owner from the age of 6 weeks. He has been very well socialized starting at an early age and can play with other dogs very well. He is also good with kids 5 years+. He is neutered and up to date with all of his shots. Cass is a very calm dog, but loves to play and exercise. His favorite game is chasing him with a stick. He is not into treats except for peanut butter, and does very little barking if any. When it’s time to do his business, he will stare you down for until its notice. He has a fear of vacuum cleaners and items that look like they can fall. He loves kisses and is looking for a family to continue the love that he is accustomed to.

For more information on Cass contact Leslie at  "S.A.S.S."  (203) 952-8741.
  • Poco is a very sweet eight year old non-shedding neutered male Wheaton Terrier-Poodle mix.  He was dropped off at a local animal shelter when his owner moved into a nursing home.  Poco is quiet, kind, house and crate trained.  He has impaired vision because of cataracts in both eyes and may have some hearing loss.  Despite this, he is spry and lives for short walks.  He is an easy lovable older dog who would be fine living with respectful kids.  He weighs 22 lbs.  He is being fostered through Cat Assistance, Inc. in Greenwich.  For more information, please email diezeldog@me.com.
