Featured dogs for adoption

Titus: Magnificent Titus needs a home. His current owner fell very ill and can not take care of him. He raised him from a rescue pup and  is heartbroken but has no other choice. He is in emergency foster care but needs a forever home asap. He is 75/80 lbs of pure love. Other dogs are not a problem as long as they are ready to run and wrestle with this big puppy. Titus is very fond of children, but needs to learn boundaries. He's highly trainable and would be any pit bull lovers dream! To meet Titus in Greenwich please contact Tina at tea66@optonline.net

"June," a Big-Hearted Dog Being Fostered through OPIN. June is a young, beautiful dog with a heart as big as the sky for her human friends.  Happy to meet everyone, strangers alike, a big kiss is awaiting you when you meet June.  She is most content just being a couch potato watching TV or listening to some nice music.  She enjoys her human friends too much to share with another household pet.  So if you are looking for a “single and loving it pet” – a one and only love, June will be your girl.  She’s got more than enough love to give.   Formerly a Stamford Shelter Dog, June is now part of OPIN’s foster network and is seeking a permanent home or even a foster-to-adopt situation.  To meet June, please email Anya, June’s foster mom at:  anya@opinpets.org

If June is not a perfect match, be sure to stop down the Stamford Animal Shelter, 201 Magee Avenue.  The shelter is open 7 days a week, from 8:00am-4:00pm for your convenience.  You can also visit www.opinpets.org to see all the animals available for adoption at either the shelter or with OPIN, its supporting nonprofit.

"Jay" is available at New Rochelle Humane Society. Jay is an extremely lucky dog. When his former family moved, they were unable to find housing that would include Jay. So they brought him to their vet to have him put to sleep. Fortunately, his vet called us to see if we could find a spot for him and hopefully a new home.
Jay is an easy dog to live with. He is house-trained, easy to take on walks, and friendly. He is about 9 years old and would love to spend the rest of his life with a new family. You can meet this dog today! We are open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm and Thursdays from 2pm to 8pm! For information about how to adopt, contact us or visit our website at www.NewRochelleHumaneSociety.org!
