About the YW Clubs: The Newcomers Club has been welcoming new area residents since 1954 and is designed to help those new to the area become familiar with their community and the YW. It offers a ready-made social network with numerous activities and events throughout the course of the year. The International Club is open to YW members who have international backgrounds or interests. Club members include citizens of countries from around the world, Americans who have lived abroad, and others who are seeking to broaden their understanding of the world and how others live. The Club sponsors social and educational gatherings which provide cross-cultural experiences, and supports the unique needs of women who are coming or returning to the USA. The Inspire Club was created to reconnect old friends and formerly active members of the YW, and to welcome new members who would like to participate in its social and recreational outings. It is a new club designed for women who find themselves
single again, empty nesters or who just want to reconnect with old friends or make new ones. The Network of Working Women welcomes all workingwomen, whether employed outside of the home or doing consulting and freelance work, who are already moms or moms-to-be, and includes those currently unemployed or considering workforce re-entry.
