Kids' Programs & Job Search Support at YWCA Darien/Norwalk

The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is located at 49 Old Kings Highway North and offers a variety of programs for women in lower Fairfield County. It is dedicated to giving women the support and tools they need to transform their lives, be confident in their choices and raise healthy families. Summer Painting Workshop for Children

Available by the day or week. An 8-week Summer Vacation Painting Workshop for children ages 4 through 10, available now through August 15th.  Sign-up is available for 1 to 5 days each week. Registration for classes and more information are available at ywcadariennorwalk.org

YW Toddler Time:

The YW Toddler Time program begins September 4th.  This is a 2-hour drop off program consisting of free-play, story and music time, an art project and snack in a classroom setting.  To be eligible, children must turn 2 between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014.

 

Job Search Support

The YWCA Darien/Norwalk Job Search Support program provides guidance for women in all stages of the job search process.  A free half-hour consultation is offered for resume review or to discuss any aspect of the job search.  Services offered year-round include one-on-one resume writing assistance, individualized job search strategy/coaching as well as individual Microsoft Office tutoring.  Call 203-655-2535 or email Kate Foster kfoster@ywcadariennorwalk.org for further information
