Last summer, Fleur de Lis Academy began offering free weekly dance lessons at the Norwalk Library.  Classes quickly grew from 13 dancers in a class to over 30 dancers in a class in just four weeks!

After recognizing the large demand for free dance classes and being inspired by all the joy in all the faces of kids who enjoyed the free dance classes, Fleur de Lis Academy began offering full and partial scholarships through their Together We Dance Project to many families in Wilton, Norwalk and Weston.

A total of 11,200 financial aid applications have been distributed throughout the community.   Fleur de Lis Academy had responses from over 200 families and held over 100 auditions, offered on 3 different Saturdays.

Ultimately, Together We Dance Project offered 76 scholarships and 40 families accepted over $48,000 in full and partial scholarships.

There are so many families throughout our community who want to be able to afford to send their children to dance lessons but struggle financially.  Our mission is: No dancer left behind !
