Time management, executive functioning and organizational skills are the essential foundation for academic success, allowing students to be more confident and better prepared for school, while providing the critically needed tools for life beyond.
Recognizing that many middle school students would benefit from support in time management, note-taking, study skills, and organization, Roton Middle School is delighted to host the popular S4 – Successful Study Skills 4 Students program to its Middle Schoolers over 5 after-school sessions, September 24, October 1, 15, 22 and 29 from 3:15 – 4:45.
Mr. Joseph Vellucci, Principal of Roton Middle School said: “Study skills are the critical and necessary foundation for academic success. We are pleased to be the first Norwalk school to host the evidenced-based S4 Program to our students so that they may take advantage of these important tools. “It’s never too early for a student to learn and incorporate study skills tools and strategies into their studying practice. Putting into use even a single skill can make a big difference for a student.”
