Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival to Run September 7-9
Presenting Sponsor First County Bank
The 35th annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster
Festival will be held this year from Friday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Sept. 9. First County Bank will be returning this year as presenting sponsor for the second
to past favorite entertainment and attractions such as the Kid’s Cove and Arts
and Crafts Pavilion, new attractions this year include the Paul Bunyan
Lumberjack Show and Fast Action Motorsports Entertainment. Nationally known bands Village People on
Saturday, and Lou Gramm, formerly of Foreigner, on Sunday will be
joined by many local musical acts over the course of the weekend-long festival.
“The Oyster Festival is a community
event that has been a cornerstone of local culture for 35 years,” said First
County Bank Chief Marketing Officer Karen Kelly. “It is important to First County Bank as a
community bank to support the festival as it represents what Fairfield County
is all about – family, tradition and good food.

and family and making a day of it.”
First County Bank has been a
supporter of the festival since 2005 and made the decision to become the presenting sponsor last year. In
addition to being the main sponsor, the bank will be the
“Welcoming Gate Sponsor” and will sell tickets for the festival at all 15 First
County Bank branches throughout lower Fairfield County.
The Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival is held at Veteran’s Park, adjacent
to Norwalk Harbor on Seaview Avenue in Norwalk, CT. Admission is $5 on Friday, $12 on Saturday
and Sunday. U.S. military personnel on active duty are free.
