Joseph L.A. Tessoriere, 66, husband of Marie DeSalvo Tessoriere passed away Thursday, November 08, 2012 at his home in Norwalk. Born May 18, 1946, he was son of the late Franco Alberto and Margaret Buccellato Tessoriere.
In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by his daughter Jennifer Wolff of San Francisco, CA and his sister Pina Pilaro (Joseph) of Eastport Maine. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Joseph Anthony Pilaro (Joe Gorrie) of New York, NY, Margaret Barrette (Jeff) of Olympia, WA, Mark Pilaro (Meredith) of Potomac Falls, VA, Matthew Brancato (Allison) of Norwalk, CT, Jacqueline Brancato Kotos (Tom) of Milford, CT, Deborah Brancato of Westport, CT, and cousins Joanne Castagna (Glenn Chaplin) of Coconut Creek, FL; and by his in-laws Teresa and Vito Brancato of Westport, CT and Rose and Dominick DeSalvo of Stratford, CT. He was predeceased by his niece Frances Maria Pilaro Wolstenholm.
Friends may call on Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk.
