John Joseph McKenna, 76, of Norwalk, husband of the late Patricia McCormack McKenna, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the Norwalk Hospital.
Born June 14, 1936 in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late John and Mary McKenna.
Mr. McKenna was a Norwalk resident for 21 years and a fan of Detroit sports teams.
He is survived by his two daughters Alice McKenna of Norwalk and Ellen Gray and her husband James of Alpharetta, Georgia; and his two sons Christopher McKenna of Norwalk and John McKenna of Yonkers, NY. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Brian and Elizabeth Gray.
Friends may call on Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Place, Norwalk. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
