There is entirely too much of today’s music that goes unnoticed. Here at HandsDownMusic, our team has a passion for discovering the best artists & songs and bringing them to you daily. Produced by Juniors at the University of Maryland and the University of Delaware, HandsDownMusic was launched on October 20, 2011 and creates an online social experience revolved around music. This site’s purpose is to bring attention to new releases from a combination of the best up and coming and well-known artists.
HandsDownMusic will be covering the Alive@Five concert series in Stamford, Connecticut, which features live music from national headliners and attracts after work crowds and families every Thursday from June 21 - August 2. This years performers include Los Lonely Boys, G. Love & Special Sauce, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Matisyahu, Hot Chelle Rae, Javier Colon and Foreigner.
Previous examples of our work can be seen in the photo album above.

What Separates HandsDownMusic from Other Sites
At HDM, we’ve seen our fair share of music blogs and sites. What makes ours different is the level of commitment to our loyal fans and users. Along with providing the highest quality of music on the Internet, we stress the importance of building an online community and creating strong ties with our supporters. HandsDownMusic was created to bring musical awareness to everybody, help uncover undiscovered artists, and reinforce the image of established ones.
