avid
Wentroble, a friend of mine was in a terrible accident a few weeks ago.
David works as the Director of Pastoral Care at Nyack Hospital.
His
family has asked me to help with getting you all to a Red Cross Blood
Donation Center near your own home anywhere in the United States to
donate your blood in his honor.

This is critical. This is not spam. I know David. Read more here. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/12/23/ny-pastor-critical-pump-explosion/4180735/

People with any type of blood can do this in his honor and it will be
counted toward helping David. He is the rarest blood type, O- (That
means anyone who is O- is especially welcome to help.)

Just
tell the Red Cross Donation Center you are making a directed donation of
blood in honor of David Wentroble who is at the Connecticut Burn Center
at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Asking your
friends to donate helps too. (For example, if you are diabetic your
blood isn't accepted by the Red Cross -- so I'm spreading the word as
much as I can.) - EKO

There are 84 blood drives going on now to which you can contribute. Find them here: http://www.redcrossblood.org/
