Community Update

NAMI Fairfield will hold its First Wednesday of the Month Meeting on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Daniela Giordano, Public Policy Director of NAMI CT will explain the affect the upcoming implementation of the Affordable Health Care Act will have on people living with mental illness in Connecticut.

Changes will take place in both private and government insurance coverage so all will be affected in some way. The state’s healthcare exchange is scheduled to be launched on October 1 of this year.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 4 in the
Eliot Room Library, First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road, Fairfield from
7:30-9 pm. It is open to the public, is free of charge, and light refreshments will be served. For more information please call Judy at 203-650-3463.
