Roosters Opens Store in Norwalk

Launched in 1999 in Lapeer, Mich., by master barber and founder Joe Grondin, the growing chain today boasts more than 40 franchised stores nationwide.

A Roosters Men's Grooming Center recently opened its third store in Connecticut at 607 Main Avenue in Center Seven in .

Launched in 1999 in Lapeer, Mich., by master barber and founder Joe Grondin, the growing chain today boasts more than 40 franchised stores nationwide.

According to a press release, Norwalk Mayor Richard A. Moccia attended the store's grand opening celebration to cut the ribbon and congratulate the store's owners, Maria and Michael Raduazzo, for bringing their new business to Norwalk.

During the event, attendees were treated to the vocal harmonies of local barbershop quartet The Usual Suspects of the Coastal Chordsmen.

The store, which is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, reportedly sports “oversized leather barber chairs” where patrons can get a range of grooming services including precision haircuts, hair coloring, shaves and deep cleansing facial massages.
