Norwalk Police: Man Arrested After Throwing Ketchup Bottle

A Bridgeport man was arrested after he allegedly threw a ketchup bottle at a Norwalk Woman.

Police say, Randell Clark, 22, of Ohio Ave. in Bridgeport was arrested following a dispute that occured at the home of his child's mother in Norwalk.

According to police, Clark was upset after an arguement about watching his child for the evening. The woman told police Clark assaulted her, and threw a glass ketchup bottle at her. Police say Clark admitted to throwing the ketchup bottle, but said he "did not think it hit her." The glass bottle was not broken.

Police say, Clark was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, and disorderly conduct. Clark is due to appear in court Feb. 21, and his bond was set at $7,500, according to police.

Police say, Nancy Giannattasio, 49, was arrested twice after officers were called to Fitch St. for disturbances Sunday, and Monday. 

According to Norwalk police, Giannattasio was arguing with her husband and took his cell phone from him for trying to video tape their argument. Giannattasio told police that she and her husband are going through a divorce. Allegedly, Giannattasio jumped on her husbands back in an attempt to take the phone. Police say, Giannattasio was arrested for disorderly conduct and a protective order was placed against her. 

Giannattasio was arrested a second time, within 24 hours, for voilating the terms of her release, when she allegedly went after her husband and his cell phone again early Monday morning, according to police. 

Giannattasio was charged with disorderly conduct, violation of a protective order, violation of the conditions of release, and assault, according to Norwalk police. Giannattasio is due to appear in court Feb. 21.
