At their nominating convention Monday night, Democratic Town Committee members selected Andrew S. Garfunkel to be their candidate for mayor in the fall elections.

Garfunkel is currently Town Clerk, and the Democrats selected David Jaeger to run for that position.

For At Large members of the Common Council, the committee selected Warren Pena, Sharon Steward, Napoleon Harrison, Yvonne Rodriguez and Anna Duleep.

For district council seats, from District A, Matt Miklave and David Watts; District B, Carvin Hilliard and Michael Geake; District C, Tabor Hamilton and Amanda Brown; District D, Bruce Kimmel and Lynn Moore; and District E, Nora King and John Igneri.

Former mayoral candidate Steve Serasis was chosen for City Treasurer.

For Board of Education, the committee selected Rosa Murray, Migdalia Rivas, Kevin Poruban, Gregory Burnett and Michael Barbis.
